# Export LinkedIn Followers & Following

> Export your LinkedIn followers and the people you follow, and see who follows you back.

*Canonical: https://derrick-app.com/features/export-linkedin-followers*

---

## Where it runs

- **Web app** (https://app.derrick-app.com) - nothing to install: import or build a list, add a column with this action, run it.
- **Google Sheets add-on** - run it from the Derrick sidebar, results written to your sheet.
- **MCP server (AI agents)** - call it from Claude, Cursor, or any MCP client. See /mcp.
- **REST API** - call it from your own code (PLUS plan and up). Docs: https://app.derrick-app.com/api-docs

## How to use it

### Step 1: Pick the list
Followers, people you follow, or both, and how many people to import.

### Step 2: Click Import
Derrick reads the list from your connected LinkedIn account, one page at a time.

### Step 3: Get your audience as a list
Name, headline, profile URL, and whether the follow goes one way or both ways.

## Use it from an AI agent (MCP)

Exposed as the `derrick_import_my_followers` tool on the Derrick MCP server.

**Example prompt**: "Export my LinkedIn followers and the people I follow"

**Result**: One line per person, marked follower, following or both.

Install: `claude mcp add derrick -- npx -y derrick-mcp`. Full catalog at /mcp.md.

## Use it from the REST API

Action: `import_my_followers`. Available from the PLUS plan upward, same credit cost as in the web app and the add-on.

- Docs: https://app.derrick-app.com/api-docs
- Auth: pass your key in the `x-api-key` header (get it at https://app.derrick-app.com/api-mcp, or in the Google Sheets add-on -> menu -> API)
