What is company name?
A company name is the legal or trading name of a B2B account (e.g. "Acme Corp", "Stripe", "HubSpot"). It's the lowest-friction enrichment input - a sales rep can type one without leaving Sheets - and resolves to LinkedIn company URL, website, headcount, industry, country, funding stage, tech stack and 30+ firmographic fields when matched against a B2B database.
In the context of lead email-based prospecting, company name sits downstream: you start from the lead email as your lookup key, the resolver maps it to the matching record in the source graph, and the company name value is returned as part of the enrichment payload. The accuracy of the company name you get back depends on how cleanly your lead email input identifies the underlying entity.
