Co-founder and CEO
Patrick Collison is the co-founder and chief executive officer of Stripe, the company he started with his younger brother John in 2010. Born in Ireland in 1988, he won the 41st Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition in 2005 and sold his first company, Auctomatic, before turning 20. He co-founded the Arc Institute and the Fast Grants programme, and co-wrote the essay collection on progress studies that gave the field its name.
