The company sells a unified Data Intelligence Platform that spans data engineering, data warehousing, streaming, governance, machine learning and generative AI, marketed through products including Agent Bricks, Lakeflow, Lakehouse, Lakebase and Unity Catalog. More than 20,000 organizations use it, among them adidas, AT&T, Bayer, Block, Mastercard, Rivian and Unilever, and the company states that over 60 percent of the Fortune 500 are customers. On August 13, 2026 Databricks announced that it had crossed a 7 billion dollar revenue run-rate with more than 80 percent year over year growth, alongside a 5 billion dollar strategic funding round led by Coatue at a 190 billion dollar valuation. Ali Ghodsi, one of the co-founders, has been chief executive officer since 2016, and fellow co-founder Ion Stoica serves as executive chair.
