David Kennedy is chief financial officer of Dell Technologies, a role he has held since September 2025. He oversees the whole finance organisation, including accounting, financial planning and analysis, tax, treasury and investor relations, as well as corporate development, global business operations and Dell Financial Services, and he partners closely with the offices of the chief executive officer and chief operating officer on long term strategy. He served as senior vice president for global business operations, finance from February 2023 to September 2025, as senior vice president and chief operating officer for global sales from February 2020 to February 2023, and as senior vice president and chief financial officer of the Client Solutions Group from April 2017 to February 2020. He joined Dell in 1998 and has held a series of leadership roles since.
