Who is the President of Dell Technologies?

Bill Scannell is president and chief customer officer of Dell Technologies, a role he has held since January 2026, engaging with customers and partners around the world to guide customer strategy and advance high value initiatives. He served as president for global sales and customer operations from February 2020 to January 2026, where he owned go to market strategy and global growth, and as president for global enterprise sales and customer operations from September 2017 to January 2020. Before Dell he was president of global sales and customer operations at EMC Corporation until its acquisition by Dell Technologies in September 2016, a role he was appointed to in July 2012 after overseeing customer operations in the Americas and EMEA. He began his career as an EMC sales representative in 1986, became country manager of Canada in 1988, moved to London in 1999 to run Europe, Middle East and Africa, managed worldwide sales in 2001 and 2002 and was appointed executive vice president in 2007. He sits on the board of directors of Snowflake Inc. and on the advisory board of IonQ, Inc.
